THERE ARE 10 UNMISSABLE EXPERIENCES IN LISBON
Lisbon is a city with a special charm and full of contrasts that leave no-one indifferent, which is why the magazine Condé Nast Traveler, in its Spanish edition, shares a list of experiences that it strongly recommends for those visiting the Portuguese capital.
The first of the suggestions is the Baixa House flats for rent, which are decorated in a renovated 18th-century building, followed by Marisqueira Ramiro, which Sara Morillo, the author of the article, says: “here, he who is not happy is because he doesn’t want to be”.
The next “stop” is O Bacalhoeiro, a restaurant with a strong cultural emphasis, frequented by people of all ages, then on to Casa das Janelas com Vista (accommodation), in Bairro Alto, where the “bathroom amenities and hearty breakfasts confirm that Lisboners appreciate the good things in life”. The itinerary continues to Cais do Sodré, populated by bars, taverns and other very welcoming spaces, where there’s no shortage of music, moving on to Chapitô, “home to a performing circus school”, followed by Tasca do Sol, awarded “1 Garfo” at the Lisboa à Prova 2013 competition.
Feira da Ladra is also an attraction, where you can find authentic treasures, as well as the Príncipe do Calhariz restaurant, which seems to “hypnotise those who arrive there, with its aromas and traditional recipes” and to end the list of recommendations, there’s Lx Factory, with the note of being “unmissable” for the diversity of what it offers visitors.
