For the coming years, 2014 and 2015, the occupancy rate in Lisbon tends to increase, according to the study ‘European cities hotel forecast’ presented this Wednesday, carried out by PWC for the second year, which was supported by AHP and the Lisbon Tourism Association. However, in the ADR and RevPar indices, the Portuguese capital will verify very low numbers, as it has been presenting in recent years, also in view of the European Union context, in which there has been a slowdown in average prices. According to the study, which compares 18 European cities, the 2014 ranking places Lisbon in 16th place in terms of growth in occupancy rate, with 65.7%. In 2015, the city will rise three places to 13th, where it will set its occupancy rate at 67.4%.
