Para os portugueses os melhores os dez museus de Portugal, no âmbito dos Traveler’s Choice Awards,são: A Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (Lisboa), Museu Nacional do Azulejo (Lisboa) e Museu Nacional de Machado Castro (Coimbra) estão no pódio…Ainda no distrito de Lisboa foram enumerados o Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, Museu Condes de Castro (Cascais), Museu Coleção Berardo, Museu Nacional dos Coches e Pavilhão do Conhecimento – Ciência Viva. Houve lugar ainda para o Museu de Aveiro e Museu Monográfico de Conímbriga (Coimbra).
